Integrative Care FAQ

Are therapy and massage therapy combined in the same session?

At this time, therapy and massage therapy are offered as separate professional services. However, our practice philosophy recognizes the connection between emotional, relational, physical, and nervous system wellbeing.

Why combine therapy and bodywork within one practice?

We believe healing often involves both emotional and embodied experiences. Stress, trauma, relationships, and nervous system health can impact both mind and body. Our integrative approach honors the whole person and supports healing through multiple avenues of care.

What does “embodied healing” mean?

Embodied healing refers to approaches that include awareness of the body, nervous system, emotions, and internal experiences as part of the healing process. This may involve greater attention to grounding, self-awareness, emotional regulation, and reconnecting with the body in supportive ways.
